Best way to model Status's

What is the best way to model Status's
here is the requirement I am working on

Dimensions
Person, Product, Location, Time

Fact
Client_Statistics_Fact

Measure the number of Open,Active, Closed cases at a point in time, We create a Case when a Person comes to a Location and a Product is offered to the person

Case's can have status's Open,Active,Closed, What is the best way to model this scenario should I create a Case Status Dimension and refer the foreign key in the Fact table or should I create a Case Dimension with all possible Status's a Case can have, A Case is nothing but delivery of the Product to the Person at that location it has information like Person_Id, Start_Date, End_date, Outcome
