excuse me if some of my questions are obvious or silly....

Please can some one tell me what is a Conformed Dimensional is?

I have done digging around but it does not make total sense to me at the moment,
so need expert advise....

Many Thanks

Conforming dimensions is the key to a good dimensional model. A conformed dimension is a dimensions used by two or more facts. E.g. in retail you might have a fact for inventory and a fact for sales. The conformed dimension could then be store.
