Please clarify what you mean:

1) Oracle BI tools
2) Oracle as DWH database
3) Oracle e-Business Suite database as source for DWH development.

I do not know what original poster of this question is looking for but for me I will like to know point 3 from your questions as I am Oracle eBS developer and tying to get some DW/BI knowledge.

I have implemented the first reference site for Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE/OBISE) in Ireland about 15 months ago. I also have a lot of experience with Business Objects implementations.

If you are in an Oracle environment I would most definitely recommend OBIEE as your BI tool as there are a lot of points of integration (with database, OWB/ODI). It is a great tool and the 11 release that will be out later this year will have a lot of new features.

OBIEE works particularly well with dimensionally modeled data marts or data warehouses. Business Objects probably is easier to implement when reporting directly against OLTP systems (not something I would recommend anyway).

In terms of functionality OBIEE and BOBJ are fairly similar. However, the former has features such as write back functionality and federated query. With OBIEE you can run federated queries across multiple data sources and you can also include Excel as a data source. It will also allow you to report against multiple fact tables of different levels of granularity. I also found OBIEE support to be lightyears better than BOBJ.

Overall I think OBIEE is a great tool and I can recommend it.
