Hi,
Is there a quicker way to validate the data model?

How are you validating it now?

Manually checking each dimension, facts and relationships. Cross verifying with Functionality and so on.
But just want to know any other validation mechanism where we can validate it quickly. And I need it currently.

Given an existing database target, you can "complete compare" a model against the database tables and view the differences. If it is a new model, the model should be validated against a source to target specification. You can also build into the modeling tool rules to ensure the correct data types and lengths are chosen as well as indexes, constraint names, table names, and column names. Unfortunately, there's no way to validate that what is modeled is actually "correct" in that in meets its intended purpose without someone looking at it.

Actually I want to validate the logical model, which is little bit big enough. It is very tedious to find how each tables are linked and whether the linked correctly, satisfying the cardinality and granularity. If there is a quicker method or process to ensure the correctness at least to some level, it would be great. Since, we can be little bit confidence .
