Does it possible to have a Many-to-One relationship between two dimension tables?
I know generally it should be a Many-to-Many relationship between two dimension tables. Does it possible to have a Many-to-One relationship between two dimension tables?

the two demension tables can be combined in one.
just like employee and department demension, if you get the employee, you also know the department who belongs to.

In your example, what if there is another fact table needs to be connected to a department dimension?
