I have a question about handling confidential data in Dimensional Model. Here in the above mentioned example RED is confidentential. Confidential data is at the table element level. There could be few elements is a row which could be confidential etc.
How this kind of scenerio would be handled by tools like BO in analysis? Your comments are much appreciated.

The usual approach in BO is to use user security to restrict access to objects in the universe and/or apply filters to the data. You could also create different universes with different visibility into the database.

The question doesn't make sense to me.
I can understand that all credit card numbers would be stored, but masked or encrypted. But it doesn't make sense to me that some columns would be encrypted on some rows, and other columns on different rows.
Can you provide an example of this?
