First it are a 140 chars.
Second, it a place to reach a higher number of ppl and just point them out to the question you asked on this forum that contains more information, or point them to releasing a new Kimball tip.

Or are we Kimball users getting old and not now how to use social media?
Or are we afraid of possible negative reactions because there is no control on what is tweeted?

But if the Kimball Forum don't wants to give suggestions then it's fine. Thats the beauty of twitter you can start it on your own....

No, its because Twitter is, what's a polite term... oh... trite, inane, frivolous...

I don't follow tweets either.

There is no control over what I post on these forums.

There is no one stopping you from starting your tweets so why ask? If Dr. Kimball wanted to tweet he would. He may already, I certainly don't know.

Maybe you are young and brash. Just saying.

I thought that until recently (and certainly for a lot of celebrity type usage, it is exactly that). However, when coupled with other services, eg yoono.com, it can be a very convenient way of getting a heads-up on a new topic, seminar, product, blog article etc.
